Prisma Rehabilitative Services, Inc. was established in August 2007. The business was founded by Dr. Julia M. Gutierrez, whom earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitative Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Texas-Pan American. Dr. Gutierrez strongly values education, compassion, dignity, and respect. I work with children, adolescents and adults on a variety of issues. Most of my work is based on the principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My therapy plans are goal-oriented, with specific, measurable steps so that you can track progress. I will help you discover the "problem behind the problem" and then we'll work together to formulate solutions. I enjoy collaborating with my patients on many types of issues, but have quite a bit of extra training in working with children with ADHD and their parents, as well as with persons with Asperger's-type autism.

The PsychoNeuroPlasticity (PNP) Center is currently accepting children, adolescents and adults who may be living with ADD/ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety, Depression, Memory, and Brain-Health concerns as well as other Neurological and Spectrum Disorders. We offer a comprehensive 2-day brain-based assessment along with three-month follow-up and treatment planning.

Establishing a strong personal connection with my clients is the foundation for success. Creating a roadmap, is important in the beginning. I have enjoyed spending my life living, working, and mentoring in multicultural environments in the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia. My counseling experience expands by 40 years. I received my bachelor’s and master of Arts degrees from Dallas Baptist University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have completed 50 hours of Trauma training and 40 hours of Certified First Responder Counselor Training certificate programs. In my experience, the challenges in our relationships result from shame, fear, wounds, trauma, unrealistic expectations, or any combination of these.

Dr. Rozemarijn (Rosie) Staal is a warm and caring clinical psychologist who has been trained to use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal therapy to help individuals improve their overall emotional well-being. In clinical practice, Dr. Staal focuses on delivering evidence-based treatments, and she has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns, in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings.
