I believe in a strength based approach in order to attain desired goals. Treatment focuses on processing and working out any individual or family issues that are impeding one from attaining goals. I have been working with individuals and families for 18 years. My treatment specializations include anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational problems, family dynamics, divorce, blended families, military families, and parenting.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my Theology degree from Florida Theological Seminary and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. The combination of a Theological and Therapeutic approach allows me to reach my clients from a Holistic approach. I have a multispecialty practice. We provide evaluations, counseling, medication management, and applied behavioral analysis. My LPCs are highly skilled in multiple different areas and techniques. I and my LPAs I provide evaluations and counseling for children and adults, ages 2.5 to 75.

My ideal client who is someone that not only is ready for counseling, but is ready to do the work that comes along with it. I often share with clients, that the session is the easy work. After you leave session and return back to your daily routine, that is the hard work. My name is Charita Threatt and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an extensive background and training working with individuals with mental health and behavioral health issues as well as those that struggle with daily stress of relationships, work and depression. My private practice is based on person centered, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing therapies.
