I am a holistic Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Texas. As holistic counselor I take into consideration the physical, spiritual, psychological, ethnic and socioeconomic components that make you unique. Even in my 20+ years career as ICU nurse I have subscribed to the holistic approach to patient care. Though it's well known that mind and body interact, unfortunately many practitioners seem to overlook this important fact.
I specialize in trauma, grief and addictions, and I draw from many different psychological perspectives, depending on my client's needs. I am the counselor who will assign "homework"; I will challenge you. I believe these are important in facilitating change. Note: I accept all sexual, religious orientation, but I am not a Christian-based counselor.
Psychotherapy requires work and commitment.
