Hello, welcome to your new beginning! I'm honored to accompany you on your journey as you discover and uncover the person you've always wanted to be. I provide therapy for adolescent girls ages 16+ and women. As a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Poised Potential Counseling and Consulting PLLC, I will bring a wealth of experience and education to our work together. I earned my graduate degree in counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. My professional focus includes trauma, anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, anger management, grief and loss, self-esteem, high-risk behaviors, and sex trafficking.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and collaborative, recognizing you as the expert of your own life. I am trained in several modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and Seeking Safety.
Therapy can be intimidating, and finding the right therapist for you can be an overwhelming process, however, making the first appointment is half the battle.
