Hello! My name is Teri Rubanowitz and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in the San Fernando Valley, California. I am working with clients via Telehealth. I work with Individuals of all ages and couples specializing in anxiety, stress, and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as modalities to help me and my client navigate transition periods. I work with my clients to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life!
My style and approach with my clients are very natural and authentic. I work well with everyone and I take pride in the fact that I am able to help my clients feel that they can conquer anything. I also like to help my clients ultimately see the glass half FULL!
My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking to me about anything in a kind and caring environment free of judgment. I decided to become a therapist because I love people! I am happy when I am making a difference and I like to see individuals become their "best selves"
