I have trained extensively in trauma treatment, parts work, hypnosis, mindfulness, somatic therapy, intimate systems/couples therapy. My life & work have informed specialities in grief, acute/chronic illness, and the territory of end of life.
In couples therapy you will each increase awareness of how your family of origin impacts your expectations and relating styles; recognize potential triggers affecting you; learn how to get unstuck in dead-end communication patterns by listening and responding in new ways. I provide practical assignments to transform ineffective communication patterns.
I welcome & am excited by including a spiritual dimension to our work together, however that is meaningful for you.
