I have 35 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, children, and families. My clients are high-functioning professionals, some have been in therapy before but are now seeking a more natural and integrative approach. Some are therapists themselves. I also work with people new to therapy who seek to build a more solid foundation for their emotional health. I work with individuals and with couples. The heart of what I do is create a safe space, helping my clients address the difficult issues that keep them from moving forward in their lives.
I specialize in relationships with a history of complex trauma. I'm an experiential therapist, trauma-informed, and use an IFS model, MBCT, and John Gottman's work. I use a mindfulness-based approach to help my clients reset the ground for themselves toward healthier, more emotionally intelligent ways to address and resolve their conflicts.
I advocate living life with integrity and compassion. Change is hard. Most people resist change for fear of what's unknown in the future. I understand it takes courage to reach out for help.
