Hi, I am Teri Noordmans, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who lives in Clovis, CA, working via telemetry. I am also an RN and Certified Christian Conciliator. I have 30 years of experience in private practice focused on individuals, couples, and families. Also as a mediator and conciliator, I have helped couples and families reconcile relationship conflicts and have assisted with divorce mediation and child custody issues. I have worked with a diverse population of clients including adolescents, adults of all ages, couples, and families.
I have helped many couples overcome obstacles standing in the way of healthy relationships. I also have worked with military families. Because of my medical training, I have worked with individuals who are also struggling with physical issues.
My primary goal is to create a safe, confidential environment where the client will feel comfortable disclosing personal concerns. I believe in a collaborative approach to a treatment plan and goals. The client owns their therapy, not the therapist. I work to facilitate a process for clients to find their way to healthier thinking, emotions, and behaviors.
