My name is Terence McCarthy (LADC) who has worked in the field for over 10 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients who have been grappling with substance abuse or behavioral addiction for several years. They may have tried to quit or control their addiction on their own, but have found it difficult to maintain sobriety due to underlying emotional or psychological issues. Primary goals are to overcome their addiction, repair damaged relationships, and develop healthy coping mechanisms to manage stress and emotions. They are motivated by a desire to improve their overall well-being, and rebuild their sense of self-worth.
I specialize in providing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to help individuals overcome their addiction and achieve long-term recovery. My specialty lies in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I offer a range of services, including individual and group therapy sessions
