I offer online counseling in the state of Kentucky using a secure and HIPAA compliant platform. My goal as a therapist is to provide support for my clients as they find the path that leads to their particular and personal healing and/or improved functioning. How this is accomplished is specific to the needs of the client and is influenced by their life experiences. As I believe that each person is unique, so too the therapeutic process. I do not prescribe to a particular method of healing, instead I join with my clients to find the process that works best for them.

My ideal client is one that wants help, seeks help and is receptive to help.

The world in which we live is fast-pace and changes rapidly. The providers at Zenith are culturally competent to meet the needs of many. We are results-driven to help each patient/client with their issues and achieve their goals. Our goal is to meet the needs and not have a forever client.

Therapy is a safe space to spill the tea! No matter how supportive our friends, family, and partners are we can all hit a wall with sharing. We convince ourselves that we have overshared or over burdened them so we end up holding our thoughts, feelings, worries, shame, and pain inside. This is where therapy can help. Therapy provides a place to talk without judgement or fear. Therapy can also help learn important skills such as healthy communication and setting difficult boundaries. I am here to listen and to walk with you through the pain, healing, frustration, fear, etc.

I am deeply committed to assisting individuals and couples who are going through challenging life transitions. My main goal is to provide hope in a non-judgmental and secure environment. I take pleasure in exploring innovative solutions that can help my clients reach their full potential, whether they are struggling with depression, emotional wounds, or other life challenges. I acknowledge that healing is not a straightforward process and I'm here to walk alongside you as you navigate through it.

Life can be hard. I know from personal experience. I have been a counselor for over twenty years and a client before that. Counseling provides individuals a safe place to work on making personal changes. I teach skills for overcoming anxiety disorders, such as panic attacks and obsessive compulsive behaviors, as well as working with chronic pain, depression and trauma.

All of the clients, of which I am honored to see, are ideal. These are clients struggling and/challenged with Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Grief or Loss, Pre-Marital, Marital and Divorce concerns, Parenting Skills Training, Christian Counseling, and Sports Psychology are also services provided.

My ideal client is an adult or teen who may be struggling with anxiety or depression that is affecting their everyday lives. My favorite part of client outcomes is seeing how the client and I have worked together to find a new normal and healthy way of dealing with struggles that arise. I enjoy watching clients learn new coping strategies and methods that they are able to use outside of the office and in their everyday lives to be successful. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety and/or depression, and it is preventing them from being successful in personal and professional relationships.

I know that seeking help can be overwhelming and there are many qualified individuals who could help you, but you need a therapist who is a good fit for you. Consider if I am this "good fit". I believe I have the unique ability to connect with my clients, and they with me. This can be done through empathy. Empathy is the experience of understanding another persons thoughts, feelings, and conditions from their point of view. I work hard at doing this with every individual and their unique experiences. I believe and work from the viewpoint that all individuals and family units have the strength and ability within themselves to approach whatever may come their way and find a solution to address their issues. It is my responsibility to help the individual or family unit to see those strengths and abilities and approach them from both a Christian and systemic viewpoint. I work with children of all ages up to those of a Senior age.

My approach to therapy is to assist you to heal from past wounds and cope with current issues in nurturing and non-judgmental manner.
