Greetings! I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience in social work and counseling. I believe counseling is a partnership and journey, you being in the driver’s seat and me being on the passenger side offering a listening ear, warm presence, and gentle guidance. My desire is to empower individuals to maximize their season of life while equipping them with the appropriate tools to do so.
I enjoy working from a strengths-based, integrative approach. There is no one-size fits all when it comes to therapy. My hope is to keep communication open so you can let me know what works and what’s not so helpful. We would do this by highlighting your strengths. Sometimes we already have what we need, just need some help highlighting those areas.
My hope is for you to feel welcomed and heard. I want to hear what’s bringing you to counseling in general and what’s bringing you in today. Recognizing we only have a short time together, I believe it’s helpful to give tools for when you go back into the realities of life.
