Choosing to face your fears can feel overwhelming and you don't have to do it alone. I believe that all people are resilient and have the internal capacity to reach their goals when provided with the right support and resources. I focus on creating a safe environment in which you can begin to form a deeper understanding of yourself and explore the root causes of your emotional distress. My hope is that you will leave therapy with a greater acceptance of yourself, increased confidence in your ability to navigate future challenges and a clearer path on how to engage in your life in a more meaningful and connected way.
My style is curious, collaborative, and down to earth. I utilize a person- centered, holistic approach and draw from attachment and relational theories, somatic/mind-body, EMDR and IFS. I see my role as being a guide and ally to support you in finding new ways to process life events, challenge negative core beliefs, and apply new coping skills.
I am passionate about working with individuals who may have experienced attachment injury/trauma, adverse life events or major life transitions that have led to negative core beliefs, anxiety, low self esteem, burnout, challenges developing healthy relationships, communication issues, people pleasing behaviors, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries.
