I love working with people who are interested in building self awareness, feeling more empowered and finding their true self. I've worked with people going through transitions, e.g. adjusting to disability, discovering their sexuality, the coming out process and adjusting to being in college or entering the working world. I believe in helping people to feel comfortable living their truth, and learning to be compassionate with themselves along the way. I also practice using humor, supporting harm reduction and assisting people to make healthier choices, both physical and emotional.
My practice involves helping you to cultivate less judgement of yourself while balancing accountability for your action. Some situations cannot be changed, but by practicing acceptance, awareness and choice, we can be our best self. By combining mindfulness with meaning, I believe we can improve our relationships, our lives, ourselves.
I believe that when we find meaning in our lives and our place in the world, we can survive in any situation. I believe in helping people to find the place where change is possible in their life and relationships and being a guide and companion on their journey.
