Hello! I truly believe everyone goes through a period of time when they can benefit from working with a counselor who can look at things objectively and provide direction to create the changes that are desired. I offer counseling services in a compassionate, nurturing environment to teens and adults while focusing on what is most important to the client. I have been providing counseling services to teenagers, adults, couples, and families for over 25 years, with the hope of helping them live healthy and fulfilling lives and I look forward to beginning our relationship to create the life you are hoping for.
Tara has provided therapy in a variety of settings and she has extensive experience working with teenagers and adults who are struggling with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, adjustments to major life transitions, relationship issues, and/or stress management concerns. Additionally, Tara is currently accepting supervises seeking clinical supervision.

Wise Words Book Club
Reading has been an opportunity for many to gain knowledge and understanding about their experiences in the world. It is a great way to support one’s mental health and well-being. Beginning May 3, we will be offering a therapeutic book club centered on engaging conversations, genuine connection, and an opportunity to learn from each other. The book being discussed is “Unconditional: A Guide to Loving and Supporting Your LGBTQ Child” by Telaina Eriksen. This session is designed to support family members of LGBTQ children. Though hosted by a licensed counselor, this opportunity is not a substitute for psychotherapy.
