My name is Tania Davoodi and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with clients via telehealth. I specialize in Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Relationship concerns (Infidelity, communication, intimacy), Trauma, Self-Esteem, Stress Management and Life transitions (Divorce, Grief and Loss). As a therapist, I take an integrated approach, drawing on theories, techniques, and strategies from many different models.I utilize a strength based approach, drawing on the individuals strengths, resiliency and resources. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of the client.
I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Reality Therapy. My areas of expertise are in working with adolescents and adults, across all ages with depression, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship concerns.I am genuine, authentic and most importantly very easy to talk to.
My approach to goal setting with my clients is to help clients imagine a desired outcome so that we can develop a plan to reach those outcomes objectively.
