I am a Licensed Master Social Worker! I have a Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina. I have been a critical care respiratory therapist for the past 25+ years and the spouse of a law enforcement officer so I have insight into medical traumas as well as first responders and their spouses. My passion lies with the spouses of first responders. Motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and attachment theory are examples of my treatment modalities.
I am trained in eye movementdesensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma and PTSD. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with couples and helping them to enhance their relationships or achieve new goals they want to achieve.
My goal is to meet clients where they are in their journey while adding valuable assets to their “tool boxes” to enhance daily living.
