Hi, my name is Tammy and I have been a practicing psychotherapist for 6 years. I currently hold a Degree in Psychology with specialization in Christian counseling, and a Master's in Counseling.
I have certificate coursework in play therapy, am a Certified Trauma Specialist and a National Certified Counselor. I have experience working with minors, adults, families & couples. My approach to therapy uses various modalities and could include CBT, DBT or other orientations needed to fit those that I serve.
I use my active listening skills to tune into challenges my clients face & provide a supportive environment where clients can feel empowered to find hope and insight to grow. I find that often life events occur that may impact the way we see the world around us and my personalized approach for each client sets the landscape for positive change.
