I'm a compassionate and creative psychotherapist in private practice in Maplewood and Jersey City, NJ. I use an eclectic approach to healing using mind, body, and heart connections. I believe in the ability for all of us to heal and grow from a place of self acceptance and compassion. I help my clients define their goals for therapy and we create a plan together in a safe and calming environment. My areas of experience include trauma, childhood abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and relationship issues. I enjoy working with individuals and couples.
My specialties include EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy for the treatment of traumatic memories and childhood trauma, Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT) for individuals and couples, relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy, and loss and grief.
