I currently have openings and work with kids ages 8 through adults and couples. My approach is client centered, solution focused aimed to foster emotional wellbeing skills and coping tools that develop self-awareness and the ability to overcome the challenges you face. Not just today, but also in the future. Explore negative patterns, understand how past/present experiences, or unconscious processes, impact you or your child. Prevent burnout and improve self esteem, confidence, relationships and communication skills.
I am trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, TFCBT, CPT, Unified Protocol & do Horticultural Therapy workshops for mental wellness. My specialty is treating trauma, and also therapy to overcome depression, anxiety, substance abuse, bipolar, psychosis, eating disorders and grief. I work in a school setting, thus also treat learning, behavior issues.
Life is full of problems, but that doesn't mean your mental health has to be a rollercoaster of emotions and unhappiness. I'll be there to support, guide and provide practical tools to overcome the emotional pain that brings you to seek changes today. I provide therapy in Spanish too & look forward to meeting you.
