When a teen struggles, it impacts the whole family. I specialize in treating teens and young adults with a variety of issues including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, ADHD, ASD, substance abuse, eating disorders and trauma issues. I have extensive experience in working with the client & their families. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT). These are the most helpful because there have concrete tools a person can use immediately!
Through talk therapy , I am able to build rapport and a connection with clients rapidly. This helps us to get to the core of the issues more quickly. I primarily use CBT and DBT. These therapies help people to identify their emotions, how the emotions impact their decisions and behavior, allowing clients to make the changes they want.
I am here to listen compassionately and non-judgmentally; to help you think and feel better in order to reach your goals. I practice client centered therapy, meaning I am a real person who also has training to help you sort through things.
