Hello and welcome! My name is Tamara Butler and I am a limited licensed professional counselor. I have my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am also a School Counselor working for Detroit Public Schools Community District. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe, trusting, and empathetic relationship in which you feel completely comfortable to share whatever is going on in your life. I will provide compassion, understanding and support in a judgment free zone.
My approach to therapy is person centered while integrating researched based approaches such as,cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology and emotionally focused therapy. As a therapist, I will tailor your treatment to fit your specific needs as a client.
