People seek therapy for so many reasons, but mostly we all want to feel loved, safe and understood. We want to feel a sense purpose & feel good enough as we are, and yet so many of us struggle to feel these ways. Sometimes our lives look very different than we imagined & we need help making sense out of things. We might be feeling numb or disconnected, uncertain or alone. We might be questioning the direction of our lives and/or need to find some hope or clarity. Self compassion & radical self-acceptance are cornerstones of my work. I'd like to explore these concepts with you and help you make meaning of your life and sense of self.
I specialize in working LGBTQ+ folks and/or artists/creative folks. I enjoy working with individuals/couples/ families who embody a strong curiosity & commitment to learning how to heal their hearts, minds and spirits and feel genuine connection to themselves & others. I am certified in modalities related to trauma, addiction & mindfulness-based practices.
I believe we heal in relationship with others, including our unique & sacred relationship with our therapist. I aim to provide a safe, connected space for people to find meaning, value, and purpose in their lives. My approach is non-judgmental, direct & empathetic. Collaboratively we will find solutions and invite & hold space for all our big feelings.
