I believe in the human capacity for healing and change. I work with (indivudual and group counseling) adults, adolescents, and children over 8 years old, both individually and in couples and/or family therapy. I often work with those who are struggling to cope with grief, stress, interpersonal relationships, and/or substance abuse. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts, feelings, reactions, and behaviors in order to develop a new outlook and find new ways to respond to life. I will strive to empower you, helping you to make improvements that are positive, effective, and meaningful to your goals.
I have developed an eclectic mix of evidence-based strategies to meet your needs. My approach is strengths-based, utilizes cognitive behavioral approaches and trauma-focused practices. We will work together to bring balance to your emotional and internal responses, incorporating mindfulness and self-compassion into your treatment plan, also with group work.
I can help to prepare you with the tools to combat life's challenges. Using your existing strengths, we can move forward to better manage stress, develop new coping skills, increase your well-being, heal, build confidence, and develop healthier relationships with yourself and others.
