Welcome - my name is Dr. Taijah Davis, EdD and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Atlanta, Georgia and working statewide via telehealth. I work with adults 19-45 and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Additionally, I specialize in couples/marriage counseling using The Gottman Approach to address conflict management and issues with communication.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client. In my practice, I have been trained in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and most recently, EMDR to utilize based on the specific needs of each client.
Therapy can be scary. Opening yourself up to be vulnerable about the most intimate details of who you are as a person requires the utmost of trust. It is my aim, through therapy, to be that trusting, safe space for you. If you decide to take this journey with me I promise to promote growth, understanding, and ultimately, a more fulfilling life.
