My name is TaBre’a (Tuh-Bree-Yuh), I’m a Maryland native and moved to North Carolina in 2022. I have been in the social work field since 2018 and have had the privilege of supporting many communities and colorful walks of life. If I am not snuggling with my baby girl, you can find me tuned into a good podcast or cooking some of my favorite meals. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and I want to hear as many as I can. In a loud world where you might feel silenced, I hear you. I have a master’s degree in social work from Salisbury University. I am presently enrolled at Walden University for my Ph.D. in Human Services.
I have worked in Psychiatric Rehabilitation in which I was able to assist individuals presenting with challenges to become their best independent selves. My most rewarding experience was being a forensic therapist. I enjoy working with ages 12 and up to overcome mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, women's issues, and substance abuse.
My clinical work also includes family therapy, life coaching, life transitions, spirituality, managing stress and relationship issues (including divorce and separation). I welcome clients from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds including LGBTQ+, transgender, and people of color. My therapeutic style focuses on non-judgment, kindness, and transparency.
