Hi, my name is Tabitha. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor offering sessions online and in person. I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma and primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) which is an experiential model. This approach is effective for healing the nervous system as well as the emotional, mental, and spiritual wounds that happen as a result of our trauma. Most of my clients begin therapy reporting that they have “anxiety” or “depression” or that they are struggling emotionally. Sometimes, they report chronic headaches, tension, or stomach problems.
As we begin the healing journey, we often find that these symptoms have old, deep roots and that our systems have become burdened over time. The healing process becomes a dance between the internal and external work (boundaries, relationships, environment). In therapy, I will walk alongside you through this process.
