Hi! I am so glad you are here. I know therapy can be intimidating for some individuals, so I am proud of you for taking the first step. I believe a huge part of therapeutic success comes through rapport; I do my best to offer a comfortable, welcoming environment. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches best fit for each person. I have lived experience with OCD and professional experience working with clients who have OCD, including those with more "taboo" themes. I also have experience working with anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief, bipolar disorder, depression, survivors of sexual abuse, and other trauma.
I wholeheartedly believe everyone could benefit from therapy. Therapy will be based on your needs and goals. It can be a place to make behavioral changes and learn skills, but also can be a safe place to vent and share some laughs.
