I have a huge and growing passion for play therapy. The value of play in a child’s life cannot be dimmed down to a number, but can be seen to affect their development, self esteem, boundaries, confidence levels, and so much more. Using a fantastic playroom just for your child, with toys hand picked for their needs, I believe that they are capable of healing from within given the right tools and a little help from adults. Play Therapy focuses on children starting at age 4 through adolescence and uses scaffolding as they grow and learn how to express and identify confusing emotions that may come up through adversity.
With a focus on Play Therapy, the child will use toys as their words and play as their language to communicate their needs. Areas of growth include self esteem building, confidence, independence, decision making skills, ability to emotion regulate, and more.
