Welcome! I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who may be experiencing a variety of obstacles related to emotional and behavioral health needs. With experience in the areas of goal setting, processing/coping, social skills, and mental health diagnosis, my goal is to create unique and individualized treatment plan that is specific to each client's needs. I enjoy being part of the process towards client's reaching their goals and getting the most out of life! As both a therapist and a school social worker, I have a full understanding of the impact that mental health can have on one's day to day.
I am a person centered clinician and I meet the client where they are while taking the time to clearly identify what type of support would work best for their specific needs. I use a variety of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to provide clients with effective support & healing
A typical first session is used to build rapport, get to know each other, and openly discuss how therapy can best support the client. During this time, client's gain a better understanding of my strengths based approach, as well as how I can better assist with client's healing, support, and meeting individual goals.
