Are you at your wit's end trying to communicate with your ex. Are your kids constantly exposed to conflict between the two of you. Co-parenting after divorce can be difficult. Separating personal issues from parenting issues is a skill that parents find challenging. Co-parenting counseling is an opportunity to discuss problematic issues in a non-threatening environment with help from someone experienced in facilitating communication with divorce issues. You can learn to focus on parenting concerns without the intrusion of past relationship problems. Parents find that it is possible to resolve tough issues without court intervention.
I have worked with families and children involved in divorce parenting issues for 34 years and have worked with over 3,000 families involved in high conflict custody disputes as a mediator, co-parenting counselor, parenting coordinator, reunification counselor and Guardian ad Litem.
I have also served as an instructor and mentor for Guardian ad Litems. I instructed the court required class for divorcing parents. I co-authored the books What Children of Divorce Really Need and Navigating Your Custody Battle Without Destroying Your Kids.
