I am a Licensed Professional Clinical counselor who has been helping clients since 1998. I enjoy partnering with and clinically supporting clients who are affected by trauma, struggling with anxiety, dealing with difficult life circumstances, or trying to recover from past dysfunctional relationships. I have a lot to bring to the table including years of clinical experience and a good set of listening ears. I enjoy using both to help clients figure out how to feel better and develop the skills they need.
I use a variety of evidence based treatment approaches including EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Somatic Processing, and Mindfulness techniques. I am clinically trained to utilize both cognitive and body based interventions to help clients reach their mental health goals.
Most of my clients have described experiencing a combination of humor, education, support, empathy, and encouragement in their therapeutic experiences. Ultimately my goal is to help clients feel better and work their way out of therapy. I always feel honored when someone graduates stating they feel better and confident in their ability to cope with things.
