In my experience, therapy at its best is a collaborative journey between the counselor and the client. Sometimes we need help to navigate our best next steps in addressing the challenges that occur in life. Counseling is a safe place to process your experiences in a supportive environment. I am a clinically trained, licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia as well as a National Board-Certified Counselor. I enjoy working with individuals from age 8 to adulthood.
The wonderful news is that for most people, counseling is for a season. I use an integrated and systematic approach to therapy utilizing CBT, DBT and additional evidence-based therapies when appropriate. My approach includes identifying strengths and resources to support growth and change in the life of an individual.
This supportive process of counseling leads to desired outcomes and positive change. I have a warm approach and a positive regard for others. I work collaboratively with my clients to build new skills to better navigate stressful situations and to offer hope on the journey of growth and change.
