As a mixed race person born on Turtle Island who is Chanka, Quechua through my Father, born in Apurimac and my Mother born in Sicuani. I have been a practicing therapist for 14 years; certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am bringing a culturally informed and trauma aware lens. I work in a compassionate and mindful way with anxiety, depression, life changes and trauma. Based on each person’s needs, we may integrate
Indigenous Expressive Arts and Focusing Oriented Therapy (FOT) through an Indigenous/Andean lens, Hypnosis, Mindfulness, Spirituality, Energy and parts work. Healing can be intergenerational, collective, and rooted in historical traumas, so it is very beautiful when the healing may occur in connection/ reconnection with our cultural and land-based values.
The aim is to create a supportive place for your journey back to your inner wisdom, intuition, and highest self, ultimately remembering and accessing what is already within you. I intend for this to be an inclusive space and wish for all bodies to feel welcome and nourished.
