I have a person centered approach to treatment that incorporates, cognitive behavioral therapy , problem solving skills, and addresses grief and loss by restoring hope for the future. Together we will work to create realistic goals and solutions for your personal situation.
In addition to my work with clients with chronic illness, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2005. I realized that gaining as much knowledge as possible about my condition, discussing fears about the future, and problem solving with a mental health professional were some of the best ways to regain control of my life.
