In my 45+ years working with kids, adults and families as an El Dorado County teacher, school counselor, diversity trainer, and therapist, I have been privileged to partner with individuals struggling through life's curves and personal challenges. Together, we have fostered growth and healing in the areas of loss, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, identity challenges, parenting/grandparenting, and family trauma. I have expertise in, and a deep understanding of diversity and issues related to bullying.
My goal is to develop a positive relationship with you, as the expert of your own life. Collaboratively, we will examine challenges from fresh points of view and call on your own strengths and wisdom to help you create solutions that work for you.
Our work together begins with a positive connection. I look forward to talking with you to see if it makes sense to move forward in therapy together. I offer the words of Helen Keller, "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
