There are times in all of our lives when things just don't seem to go according to plan. I believe that everyone has the capacity to change the way they think and feel and enjoy a better life. Changing feelings of depression, anxiety, fear, loss, resentment, or issues arising from trauma requires support and nurture. Through a process of empathy and understanding, I strive to help my clients make positive changes in their lives and resolve underlying conlficts. I provide a warm and safe therapeutic environment where together, we create a treatment plan that will help in achieving your goals and lasting positive change.
With special training in treating trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) I utalize evidence based treatments. I am a Certified Prolonged Exposure Therapist and Consultant providing supervision to other clinicians. I also practice Cogntive Processing Therapy and EMDR ensuring the right option for treatment is available for your specific needs.
Recognizing that the mind and body are interconnected, I utalize Cognitive Behavioral based therapies to change distorted thinking patterns while integrating aspects of physical and emotional well being.
