With almost 20 years of experience in the field, what I bring to my clients is a warm, unique ability to support them, and hear them in a way that helps them to heal. I believe the relationship that a client has with the therapist is essential to make change, and I pride myself on the positive connections I have with children, adolescents and adults.
Having worked in hospitals, schools, private practice, and a residential, I have acquired a great deal of experience working with children/adolescents with depression, anxiety, divorce, gender identity and eating disorders. I have seen adults also throughout my practice years, working with depression, anxiety, women in transition and other diagnoses.
I use a team approach; collaborating with the family, school, psychiatrist, PCP, nutritionist, etc. I use a Strengths Perspective, EMDR, and pull from many other models.
