For clients who need assistance working through current circumstances or emotional struggles, I provide space within the professional treatment relationship to facilitate the development of inner stability which helps clients effectively recover from difficult emotional material. Loss, grief and bereavement, recent or remote trauma, adjustment challenges, relationship struggles, and so much more may bring clients to my office, where they will find a safe place to unearth, process and ultimately resolve feelings, as well as increasing their level of social, emotional, occupational, academic, and day to day functioning.
In addition to psychotherapy, this practice also provides psychodiagnostic assessment services. Assessment may assist with determining diagnosis, detecting cognitive and learning strengths, weaknesses or disabilities, and developing recommendations which serve to propel clients forward in social-emotional, academic, occupational, and day to day functioning.
This practice provides a level of privacy which is rare in our community, and my level of education, training, expertise and licensure is unparalleled in Ketchikan among practitioners in private practice who provide both psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment services, as my graduate degrees in clinical psychology come from APA accredited AIU/CSPP.
