As an Advanced Certified Core Energetics Practitioner, I work with clients who are looking for a better way of being and living. We often have challenges with depression, anxiety, shame, fear, and traumas, and some of us look for something more out of life, asking, "Is this all there is?" Talk therapy can be valuable in gaining a cognitive understanding of WHY you feel as you do, and it can provide some relief. But how much does it change your lived experience? Core Energetics involves work processing thoughts, feelings, and emotions through your body in a way that releases "stuckness" and energy for purposes that you direct.
I am a Certified Core Energetics Practitioner. This is a somatic, or body-based modality of healing and wellness. Emotional effects of experiences literally get lodged in the body when we tense our muscles and restrict or stop our breathing under stress. Insults and traumas literally get stored in our tissues. CCEP's integrate bodywork with the verbal.
Healing lies within. You are the expert of your own experience, needs, and wants. I work with connection, trust, and collaboration to free your own healing process.
