My work as a therapist is dedicated to helping people discover and connect with the unique strengths each and every one of us has within, which enables healthy relationships with ourselves and others. Our relationship will be one of trust, safety and self discovery. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and abuse issues. This experience has led me to work in behavioral health clinics, foster care and family court settings.
I work primarily from an insight oriented perspective but also rely on cognitive behavioral, solution focused, DBT and mindfulness approaches. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at California Lutheran University I went on to earn my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University.
Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
