I am an analytically and experientially trained psychotherapist with 30 years of experience helping people deal with their personal issues. My style is warm and related. I see each client as unique and listen for the crux of their experience. Therapy is a cooperative venture between therapist and client in which honesty and openness are key to building trust and genuine communication.
I am skilled in working with individuals and also have extensive experience with couples. I am comfortable working psychodynamically and also use some of the newer modalities, such as Focusing, which are particularly effective in work with trauma, addictions, and stuck patterns of behavior.
