Dr. Shalaby is a clinical psychologist and trained neuropsychologist with over 10 years of experience in treatment and assessment of children and adults with a variety of psychological and neuropsychological disorders. He completed a two-year post-doctoral program specializing pediatric neuropsychology working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders to help identify their unique needs to provide recommendations to help compensate for cognitive and psychological difficulties and improve overall functioning.
Therapeutically, he uses an eclectic style of treatment with a focus on developing and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance in order to address active psychological distress, as well as the deeper concerns and established patterns of maladaptive behaviors that maintains core beliefs inhibiting individual growth or self-actualization.
I consider myself a dedicated professional, an outgoing, enthusiastic and energetic individual, with a strong desire to assist clients with management of progressive medical and behavioral care and provide the emotional support needed for each individual in a holistic manner.
