There may come a time in your life when you intuitively know things are off and you're looking for change, perhaps in areas such as identity, career, faith/spirituality or relationships. You may have also had change forced on you through accident, injury or illness and you are struggling with how to adjust. You might be feeling out of place, guilty or at blame for wanting things to be different. There are times you may not even be aware of where that change needs to occur. I want to help clients find out what is truly important to them, so that they can build a meaningful life with self-acceptance at the core.
I have worked with adults in crisis, outpatient and intensive care. I have experience in areas of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, eating disorders, neurodivergence, gender/sexual identity, brain injury and chronic illness. I have a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an M.S. in Experimental Psychology with a focus on brain injury.
I genuinely want people to feel accepted in the world, even if that acceptance is with yourself. Our life has the potential to be joyous or peaceful. I look forward to working with you in a collaborative, casual/authentic, kind and direct relationship.
