I believe we are created for relationships, which is why having healthy relational dynamics among family, friends, coworkers, or other individuals is crucial to our well being. There are many obstacles we face in our daily lives. Some situations we can easily navigate, while others can be more challenging and cause us to question ourselves and our ability to persevere and overcome. Life is hard and we are not meant to do it alone. It is important to know that you are not alone in your situation and that there IS help and support for you.
I take an integrative approach to therapy and do brief work. I help people navigate through the presenting crisis of their situation so it becomes manageable. I use attachments, core needs, cognitive beliefs, and psycho-education to help clients have healthy relational dynamics, overcome obstacles or life challenges, and be the best version of themselves.
It can be scary to reach out and share aspects of self. It is something I do not take lightly and am honored to be trusted with. My background in teaching and ministry, as well as my own personal experiences in various family dynamics and life adjustments, aid in my understanding of and approach to working with individuals undergoing hardships and pain.
