I focus on supporting people experiencing an eating disorder, seeking peace with food and their bodies, and have an interest in using art in the therapy room. You may want to strengthen your self-esteem and self-worth, enhance emotional regulation and coping skills, and build self-compassion.
I utilize a trauma-informed approach that fosters safety, transparency, empowerment and choice. I'm aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach which emphasizes having respect for and empowering persons in bodies of all sizes. Incorporating art and the creative process into therapy provides non-verbal opportunities to express and connect.
