I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (License 86681) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Towson University in Maryland and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I provide individual counseling therapy, focusing on children ages 5 through adolescence and adults struggling with stress, depression, self-esteem, anxiety, relationships and parenting issues. My therapy approach is person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, existentialism, solution-focused therapy and collaborative.
My main goals are to provide the necessary tools to address life experiences and obstacles in a safe, caring and empathetic environment. I offer a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to counseling, as well as bi-cultural and native Spanish speaking skills for clients who would benefit from it.
