Through the medium of teletherapy, I use multiple evidence-based methods to help those dealing with grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and school issues such as CBT, Trauma Focused-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I am a firm believer in using a collaborative non-judgmental approach to help clients identify and build on internal strengths to make positive life changes.
My professional goal is to make therapy affordable and meaningful. My work focuses on trauma/abuse survivors and those dealing with unresolved grief. Additionally, with 34 years of experience in the public school system, I also help adults and adolescents deal with academic, social-emotional, and career choice concerns.
My clinical and communication styles are very open and down to earth. I believe in using internal and natural gifts as resources toward living our best life. I understand life transitions, sudden deaths, sexual abuse, vicarious trauma, and the anxiety that occurs when we over think everything.
