I am an experienced clinical therapist who works with lots of children/adolescents and their families. I also work with adults. I am mostly person centered and humanistic in my approach. I balance therapy practice utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and social thinking theories. I use a plethora of visuals, play, humor, and reflection.
I believe that therapy should be a positive and respectful place where kids and families feel seen and heard and where they can partner with a therapist, identify areas of growth and improvement, and with a warm, supportive, and positive therapeutic relationship, build a better life regardless of any challenge or dilemma.
