After making the courageous decision to pursue therapy, the next step is to find a counselor that you connect with. I view empathy, trust, and being non-judgemental as the cornerstones of therapy and seek to provide a safe and welcoming space. My approach is collaborative and integrative, utilizing evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, CBT, DBT, MI, and Solution-Focused Therapy in a systemic approach anchored in humanistic theory, borrowing from several other orientations. I'm also an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist.
I’m a LPC and a LCADC and my experience includes working with individuals across the lifespan, focusing on adolescent and adult populations. I have experience providing group and individual counseling across outpatient, intensive outpatient, and intensive in community levels of care to those with both substance use and mental health issues.
Individual treatment goals and expectations are unique and I’m passionate about empowering individuals to harness their strengths to improve their overall wellbeing and expand their current skillset. We’re all just walking each other home, and I would be honored to share that journey with you.
