Hello, my name is Steven (Ivan) Cospewicz; I'm an LCSW licensed in California, Nevada, and New York. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and a foundation in Motivational Interviewing, as well as Socratic Questioning. I focus diagnostically on mild to moderate anxiety and depression, as well as have experience in the more traditionally persistent diagnoses.
I am a diplomate of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cert. in Interpersonal Psychotherapy. I can provide several different modalities to fit what you seek.I am also able to work with those who may feel they are experiencing odd or more commonly known as psychotic symptoms.
I was trained with a focus on evidence based practices at the University of Southern California with a focus on being open and nonjudgmental. I have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ population as well as the geriatric populations.
